Pardon my dust: FTF is moving!
... and changing pace a bit.
After a lot of deliberation, and with a lot of digital ‘weeding’ ahead of me, I’ve begun moving Future Tiny Forest to Substack. I did a trial run of this with an erstwhile blog of mine, Collapse and Delight, and the process was much smoother from WordPress (where that was) than from Ghost (where this is). So there’s a lot of work for me to do on the old posts in their new location — a process similar to weeding in that it’s cleanup that just has to be done and is time-consuming. But I actually kind of like weeding, so maybe it’s a bad analogy!
Anyway — things are a little wonky over there for the moment. In addition to the cleanup, I’ll gradually be improving the look and interface of the place, so please bear with me (and send good thoughts) as I chip away at all that in the coming weeks.
Sometime in the next day or two, typing in futuretinyforest.com will take you to the new site instead of the old one, and as soon as the cleanup is done on the new one, this one will disappear.
I hope you’ll go ahead and hit the subscribe button over there — I have it set to free and comments-on for the time being while I work out some kinks. And if you are currently a paid subscriber here, please watch for a separate email from me about that. (If you don’t receive it by end of day, please email me at futuretinyforest@kt.studio)
. . .
ALSO, I’ll be making an adjustment to my posting frequency. As we head into the gardening slow season at the same time as my school schedule ramps up considerably, I’m going to try posting once per week for the next few months. So look for this week’s post later this week — over yonder — and then likely every Wednesday thereafter.
Let me know your thoughts! And thank you to everyone who’s visited me out here in the digital hinterlands over the past year. I sincerely appreciate you. ❤️
